到现在 Evolution 都没有托盘的功能？

从这一点说，kmail 真是聪明多了，难道是用 Evolution 的人很少很少么，这么大众的功能都没有！！！

GNOME3 has a new notification system.

I am not using GNOME right now but I doubt that Evolution is using that new system.

My guess is:

A “new mail” notification will pop up from the bottom of the screen when a new email is received.
If you don’t click it, it’s going to disappear soon.
If you click on it, you might be able to reply the email in the notification without opening evolution.

I am not sure about this but that’s one core idea of GNOME 3 and I think it’s better than the notification system of KDE, Windows and Mac OS X.

Evolution 运行的不是很好，已经无故闪退了几次，跟 kmail 比感觉很不稳定，还是不要后台吧，手动开启。

IM是可以即时回复的，evolution有没有就不知到了。我现在用mutt。

这个提醒系统比较简洁干净，受够了windows无休无止的弹窗（KDE也好不到哪里去），即时回复的确可以，但Evolution 貌似的确不可以（泪奔）。用mutt呀,表示我不会啦，感觉门槛挺高的（我是说安装和配置好mutt），配置好了用起来很爽吧！写个mutt教学贴呗 :1:

Mutt 很好配置。当时我写了这个，结果没人理，有什么问题就在这个帖子里回吧。

我不相信。

手机打邮件比电脑慢多了。

电脑发邮件慢往往是因为电脑上修改起来太容易，所以发之前反复修订邮件，从而浪费时间。

Android 上有开源的 K-9，已经可以秒杀一切了。

另外 evolution 是为 gnome 设计的吧。另外你木有看到有个包叫 evolution-tray 的吗

那是因为使用的协议不一样吧。手机上使用 exchange 的话几乎是实时推送的，电脑是都 imap 轮询收信的，必然是有一定的延时的。

哦。电脑上可以设置收信频率的。确是如此。

我本人是 POP3 十分钟收一次。其实没必要，狠心一点 1 小时收一次即可，没什么着急的东西要看，有着急的就手动刷了。
